Press Release - Safety Harbor Kids Etiquette and Manners Luncheon

On Saturday, March 31st, from 11am to 3pm, Duke's Malibu hosted the 6th Annual Safety Harbor Kids Etiquette and Manners Luncheon.  Safety Harbor coordinated with group homes throughout the Los Angeles area to bring 100 orphans and homeless children to Malibu for a day dedicated to learning etiquette and manners, career development, music and art lessons, tool safety, and Easter Egg hunt, and motivational speeches from successful people in various careers such as the film industry and from Sparks Basket Ball player, Lisa Willis.  The Safety Harbor Travelin' Band rocked the afternoon, and many of the children in attendance were inspired to come up and perform a song or dance or poem.  Everyone was treated to a brunch by Duke's.

Safety Harbor Kids is an organization that mentors at-risk children who have no family and limited resources and assists them in leading a successful and fulfilling life.  It is always so inspirational and moving to see how these deserving children realize the potential that exists within them, and how they blossom during the course of these Safety Harbor Kids events that are hosted by Duke's Malibu.
