Safety Harbor Kids Holiday Party

On Sunday, December 11, Duke's Malibu and the local nonprofit organization Safety Harbor Kids hosted the Fifth Annual Spirit of Goodwill Holiday Party to benefit homeless and foster children in the Los Angeles area. The event featured a musical performance by the Safety Harbor Travellin' Band with James Belushi. Miss California Katie Blair, Miss Malibu, Brie Gabrielle and Miss Teen Malibu, Micaela Brookman, along with actress, Bai Ling, former NFL player, Willie Gault all gave inspirational speeches. Music lessons, toy making, arts and crafts, and a visit from Pearl the Wonder Miniature Horse, who could hold her own on the keyboards took place through the course of the evening.  Santa, himself attended the party.  More than 100 children were presented with a slew of donated gifts, and Duke's Malibu treated everyone to a dinner of roasted turkey with all of the trimmings as well as Hula Pie for dessert.
